This last weekend we made a last minute decision to hit the outlet mall located in San Marcos, TX (about 3.5 hours away from us). Yes, we have outlet malls in Houston, but we do not have a Fossil outlet. I know... we're fanatical! Any how, Stacey decided to book us overnight at an AMAZING resort call Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa. We barely scratched the surface of what this place had to offer, but we are definitely planning our next getaway to this place. The place is located right on the Colorado River and in the hilly/woodsy area of Texas a little way from Austin. Yeah, Texas actually has some hills! Any how, this place offers kayaking, hiking, golf, horseback riding, kid stuff, restaurants, etc. And on top of all that, the views are just amazing.
The next day we went to the outlet malls in San Marcos. This place must be the outlet mall mecca of Texas. There are actually 2 malls right next door to each other, lol. I got 5 Fossil watch batteries replaced, Stacey got a new bag, and we also got some new shirts and such. it was really just fun cruising around, hanging out, and getting the heck outta dodge for the weekend.
