Honesty

In school we talked about George Washington and honesty. We made a picture of the cherry tree out of Lil Eds hand.

Last Discovery Space Mission

How cool is it to be living in times like these? I was glued to the computer (sort of a shame the networks found it more important to show dr. oz, the doctors and judge shows instead of this) for a good hour watching and listening to the final preparation to send people into space. A piece of history.
oh and these are pictures taken of my screen. :)

Baby Bunnies

(Ah Gawsh...The pictures are backward)
Friday night We were having a BBQ and fire in the backyard. Ed stumbled upon a hole in the ground. There was something in there but as it was getting dark and we were having a good night...Ed made us leave this unknown animal alone to prevent an emergency room visit. The next day upon further investigation we discovered baby bunnies. I called the Wildlife rehabilitation and they said to sprinkle flour around the den as the mom bunny only comes to feed in the night. So if the flour is messed with the next day we would know that the babies were being cared for. The next day it appeared as if she came back. But the next day and the next the area seemed to be undisturbed. So I called the Wildlife place again and they advised to bring in the babies. Lil ed wanted so badly to keep one. (we did not) Lil Ed and I gathered the babies and took them to the Rehab place. I am hoping they are doing just fine and getting ready to be reintroduced into the wild.

Staceys Birthday!

I got two days of birthday fun. We delayed the activites one day due to the ice storm. It included...Monster Truck Jam, hotel stay, Cheesecake Factory lunch, birthday cake candles in room almost setting off smoke alarm, spontaneous trip to San Marcos outlet malls including lots of shopping and presents. Thank you Eds for making my weekend great!

Crazy Cold February Weather

We had quite a freeze here in February. This was my car when we arrived home from Karate.

Eds Truck was Frozen

Probably not good for the plants...but they were quite lovely with the shimmering ice.

And we got some wind this month...poor lil tree in the backyard.

January Field Trip- Space Center Houston

Lil Ed and I went to the Space center Houston for a field trip with his homeschool group. It was ok. This was the acutal command center back in the day. That flag actually flew in space.
Lil Ed seemed to enjoy himself on the tram ride.
