Idaho!

Ed, Lil Ed and I took a short trip to Boise ID to see if we may want to live there someday. We left Friday night...

And hit some holiday traffic. There was a wreck up there a ways.
Lil Ed did fantastic on our trip.
We stopped in St. George for dinner at a Mexican place called Pachanga's. It was pretty Yummy.
We stayed the night in Salt lake City on Friday night. It was so late when we arrived we didn't even take pictures.
We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Downtown Boise. This is a view from our room...
so is this.

We walked around downtown for a bit....
...and found this place to eat. It was SO good.

Lil Ed enjoyed a turkey sandwich...and a cookie.
On our walk Ed almost stepped on this bug. Yuck.

The Capitol building is under construction.

Lil ed just hanging out.
Julia Davis Park.

We took a trolley ride around downtown and saw some historical stuff...
This is a hill by the old penitentiary that Ed wants to hike
This is the old Penn. The prisoners build this prison. The bad part about having them build it was there were a lot of loose stones. There were 12 escapes on the first night. LOL
An old hotel.

Lil eds zoo trip. He loved all the animals.

He even got a hot dog for lunch. (he dropped it when he fell off his stool...then he got a burger)

On the road to Lucky Peak State Park.

We took pictures...
...and Lil Ed slept.

Bread.

Dust Storm approaching the road.
Amazing clouds in Utah
On our way back to NV we stopped for lunch and a walk around Temple Square.

It was such a wonderful trip. We also drove around the smaller towns outside of Boise. I would love to live there to raise my family (even with the snow they get). I was actually bummed to come back to Las Vegas. Only time.

You guys did a lot in such a short trip. I am so glad you liked it in Boise. When I was there it reminded me of Ohio. I loved all the pictures of your trip. Wish we could have seen eachother when we were at temple square. Where did you stay on Friday?
